Personally identifiable information

Alternate Solutions Health Network will collect personally identifiable information (information that may include User’s name, mailing address, e-mail address, phone number, and payment information) from Users on the Site only if they voluntarily submit such information. Users can refuse to supply personally identifiable information, but it may prevent them from engaging in certain Site related activities and limit their ability to use the Site.

How Alternate Solutions Health Network uses personally identifiable information

Alternate Solutions Health Network is the sole owner of the information collected and does not sell or rent this information to anyone.  Alternate Solutions Health Network uses standard internet industry-wide efforts to avoid disclosure of information which is confidential, privileged or nonpublic other than in accordance with this privacy policy.

In certain instances we may also share your personally identifiable information with our third party vendors performing functions on our behalf (or on behalf of our affiliated companies) – e.g., vendors that process credit card orders, deliver our purchased services, administer our promotions, provide us marketing or promotional assistance, analyze our data, assist us with customer service, etc. Our vendors use this information, and we share information with them, only to carry out our requests. Usage Information

“Usage information” is information automatically collected by a web server (which may be hosted by a third party) that a User’s browser makes available when visiting the Site, such as a computer’s IP (Internet Protocol) address or browser type.  When a web browser or email application requests a web page or email from another computer on the Internet, it automatically gives that computer the address where it should send the information. This “address” does not contain any personally identifiable information.  Alternate Solutions Health Network also receives the name of the User’s internet service provider (ISP).

Alternate Solutions Health Network may also use other technologies (such as cookies, explained below) to enhance User experience and obtain information about a User’s online activities, such as pages and content viewed, the time and duration of visits and whether a User clicked on a link.

Cookies that are used on the Site are “session” cookies, and are used to identify a particular visit to the Site, Session cookies expire after a short time or when a User closes a web browser. Due to the communications standards on the Internet, when Users visit the Site, it automatically receives the URL of the web site from which the User came and the web site to which the User visits when leaving the Site.

Users may choose to set their web browser to refuse cookies, or to receive an alert when cookies are being sent. Doing so may result in some parts of the Site not functioning properly.

In certain instances, we may provide you with the option to set your preferences for receiving email communications from us; that is, agree to some communications but not others. You may “opt out” of receiving future commercial email communications from us by clicking the “unsubscribe” link included at the bottom of most emails we send, or as provided below; provided, however, we reserve the right to send you transactional emails such as customer service communications.
